OMG, all this cold weather, it’s keeping me indoors, boooo…hellooo, minus 20 to minus 40, with wind chills…been on the elliptical instead, not the same at all 🙁
There is something to be said about the great outdoors…gettin’ your fresh air on, a little exercise, exploring vision through a lens…awesome!
Thought I would take this indoor opportunity, to tell you, how the camera thing all began.
I bought my first 35mm camera, while renting a farmhouse just outside of Violet Hill, Ontario. Exploring the expansive grounds, offered an abundance of photographic opportunities. There was a nice little pond way out back of the property, and if you went in the opposite direction, you’d find yourself crossing a beautiful arched wooden bridge, running over a rushing stream…turns out, it was running to attach itself to the Nottawasaga River…who knew! The calling had begun…nature and photography!!
Ahhhh, the 35mm…Jeeeesus, the cost was crazy…trying to experiment as a beginner…eeek!
Gotta’ love it… the invention of the DSLR, digital single lens reflex…might I remind you, DIGITAL, changes on the fly… what?!?! Computer based…awwww! Right up my alley!! The end, or, the beginning…!!!
Might I ask you to take a look at the following pics!!!
