This publication holds a special place in my heart. We had just completed it, when Fort McMurray suffered the biggest evacuation in Canadian history. More than 85,000 residents were forced from their homes due to the spread of wildfires in the region, resulting in tremendous loss and devastation in the area. The impact still remains.
